Lorraine began exhibiting professionally at an early stage of her career and has continued to develop an abstract painting practice across several decades.

Her early exhibition history includes exhibitions at New Contemporaries, Camden Arts Centre, The Whitworth Art Gallery, Air Gallery, Battersea Arts Centre, Space Studios and other London venues.

These earlier paintings are an important part of understanding the progression of Lorraine's work from her London years to her current practice at her studio at Arts Space in Portsmouth.
